Installing an APK file on your Android device is simple, but it requires some settings adjustments. Follow the steps below to install an APK safely.
By default, Android prevents the installation of apps from sources other than the Google Play Store. To enable this option:
Go to Settings on your Android device.
Navigate to Security or Apps & notifications.
Find and enable Install unknown apps or Allow unknown sources.
Use a trusted website to download the APK file. Make sure the source is safe to avoid malware risks.
Open your file manager and navigate to the Downloads folder.
Tap on the downloaded APK file.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Once installed, you can find the app in your app drawer and start using it.
