Follow the instructions below to add, edit, and delete products. These steps will guide you through the process from product addition to setting up additional options for customization.
Step 1: Go to the Product List in the Product module.
Step 2: Click the Add Product button. You can also import a bulk list by clicking Import Product, downloading the sample file, filling it out, and uploading it. After uploading, click Validate to check for any errors. If there are no errors, click Import.


Step 3: Add Product Information.
In the Product Type dropdown, select the appropriate type:
Standard: For regular physical products.
Combo: For a combination of products sold together.
Digital: For digital or downloadable products.
Service: For non-physical services.

Product Name: Enter the product name (this will appear on invoices and receipts).
Product Code/Item Code: Assign a unique code to identify the product (e.g., SKU or barcode).
Barcode Symbology: Choose the barcode type (e.g., Code 128) from the dropdown.
Select Product Category: Choose the appropriate category for the product (e.g., electronics, groceries).
Select Product Brand: Pick the brand name if applicable.
Select Product Unit: Specify the unit (e.g., piece, kilogram, liter).
Select Sale Unit and Purchase Unit: Define how the product is sold and purchased (e.g., a box, each).

Enter Product Cost: Input the cost of the product (e.g., supplier cost).
Enter Product Price/Selling Price: Add the price at which the product will be sold.
Set Minimum Price: Define the lowest allowable price for the product if applicable.

Daily Sale Objective: Set a target quantity for daily sales.
Alert Quantity: Enter the stock level at which a restock alert should be triggered.
Tax Method: Choose the tax method (e.g., exclusive or inclusive of tax).
Initial Stock: If the product already has stock, enable this checkbox and provide the initial stock quantity.

Upload Product Image: Drag and drop or click to upload an image of the product.
Product Details: Use the text editor to add a detailed description of the product (specifications, features, etc.).

Variants: If the product has variations (e.g., size, color), check the "This product has variant" option.
Warehouse Pricing: Enable "This product has different price for different warehouse" if applicable.
Batch and Expiry: Check the relevant option if the product has batch numbers or expiry dates.
IMEI or Serial Numbers: Enable this option for serial number tracking.
Promotional Pricing: Add any promotional or discounted prices if necessary.

Once all the details are filled out, click the "Add to Bucket" button to save the product and add it to your inventory system.

Click the Action button, choose Edit or Delete. If editing, update the information and click Submit.
Warning: Deleting a product will permanently remove it from the system. Ensure you want to delete before proceeding.
Note: Make sure to fill in all product information accurately to avoid errors when uploading or importing.
